FROM THE PRINCIPAL.
IB2 Ju Myung
I would like to inform you of a great achievement by one of our Grade 12 students. High School students were again entered into the UK Mathematics Challenge. 1,900 schools from around the world participated in this annual challenge. The perfect score in this competition is 125. There were 23 students in the world who scored the perfect 125 including our student Ju Myung Nam. I must point out that the other 22 students all came from UK schools including St. Paul’s School Barnes, Harrow, Abbey School Cambridge, Kings School Oxford, International College Shrewsbury, Dulwich College and St. Edmund’s Canterbury. Ju Myung Nam was the only student from Asia, and for that matter outside of UK, who scored in the top category. This is an outstanding achievement and we congratulate Ju Myung, his family and H.I.S Mathematics Department.
